CFR- Re-Entry Readiness Workshops

The Community Forgiveness and Restoration Initiative (CFR) Re-entry Readiness Workshops are designed to support individuals who are returning to the community after incarceration. These workshops focus on providing participants with the tools and resources they need to successfully reintegrate into society. The program typically includes:

1. Workforce Development: Training and guidance on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview skills to help participants secure stable employment.

2. Life Skills Training: Sessions on financial literacy, time management, communication skills, and other essential life skills that support day-to-day success.

3. Personal Development: Workshops on building self-esteem, setting goals, and developing a positive mindset to help participants overcome the challenges they may face.

4. Support Services: Access to resources such as transportation passes, monetary assistance, and stipends to help ease the transition back into the community.

5. Networking and Mentorship: Opportunities to connect with a continuum of mentors and peers, fostering a supportive community that encourages growth and accountability.

The workshops culminate with a graduation ceremony, where participants receive certificates of completion, a stipend and other amenities acknowledging their hard work and commitment to their reentry journey.
